From this experience and research I learned our bodies are composed of approximately 60-80% water. When we deprive ourselves of adequate water for cell reproduction, the body becomes dehydrated, which impacts hair growth. If you are not consuming enough H2O daily, the cells that cause hair growth are limited to reproduce.
If you notice your hair is always dry no matter how many moisturizing products you apply, this could be a result of your hair roots lacking adequate water levels. Its important to hydrate your body with water, which is transported from the roots of your hair to the tips. Your roots soak up the water from inside and hydrates the rest of your hair.
So not only do we need to moisturize our hair from the outside, it should be moisturized from the inside by consuming plenty of H2O!
