I love Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Moisture Retention Shampoo for several reasons: it’s inexpensive, costing me $9.99 at Walgreens or Target (I stock up when its BOGO) . Also the ingredients do not completely strip my hair of its natural oils and moisture.
This shampoo works wonders for my hair. The product has a thick moisturizing lather that seemed to be a mix of shampoo and conditioner. When I apply the shampoo to my hair I noticed that it doesn't cause my hair to tangle, it actually helps soften and semi detangle my strands. After application of this product, my hair feels soft, moisturized, and clean, something I have never experienced from a shampoo in the past. I am a big fan of this shampoo and I highly recommend it!
Decyl glucoside- is a delicate cleanser derived from sugar beets and it is the 2nd ingredient in this shampoo.
Ingredients: De-ionized water, Decyl Glucoside (sugar beets), African Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea butter), aloe vera leaf juice, Argan Oil, Panthenol (pro-vitamin B-5, rosemary extract, sea kelp extract, vitamin E, Lonicera Caprifolium (honeysuckle) flower and Lonicera Japonica (Japanese honeysuckle) flower extract.
I’m not sure if this shampoo clarifies natural hair or not, so I still use an apple cider vinegar rinse once a month.
