After washing my hair with Design Essential Curl Cleanser, I condition my hair with Shea Moisture Deep Treatment Masque. After I wash the conditioner out, I apply As I Am Leave- In Conditioner and I allow my hair to air dry a little bit before I begin twisting.
I purchased My Honey Child Twist-Out Cream at a Natural Hair Event several months ago. I decided to use this product to twist my hair. While twisting I put the product on my finger tips and let it slide down the hair shaft as I twisted..
Here are the results. It took me 2 hours to twist my hair, sooooooooooo worth it because it last for 3 weeks. Not sure if I'm a big fan of the My Honey Child twist cream. After I was finished twisting my hair it felt a little dry and brittle, I had to add some Alma Olive Heavy Cream to the twist (Qhemet Biologics) for moisture.
This is week 3 and my twist are still hanging in there! To maintain my twist I sprayed a little Jamaican Castor Oil mixed one part water and rubbed very little Eco Styler on my hair every day.
